Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how StayReservations (stayreservations.com), operated by FP Labs LLC, collects, uses, and shares personal information. "We," "us," and "our" refer to StayReservations; "you" refers to the person using the site. This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, which it is incorporated into by reference.

1. Information We Collect

You give us directly:

• Contact information (name, email, phone number).
• Search preferences (destination, dates, filters).
• If you complete a booking through our on-site checkout: the information needed to process it, including guest name and stay details. Full payment card numbers are entered into our Booking Partner's checkout fields, not ours; see Section 3.

We collect automatically:

• Approximate location based on IP address.
• Device and browser information, pages viewed, and referring site.
• Cookies and similar tracking technology (Section 5).

We receive from the party that processes bookings made through our on-site checkout ("Booking Partner"):

• Booking confirmation status and attribution data (such as click identifiers used to measure which ad or search led to a completed booking) so we can measure marketing performance.

2. How We Use This Information

We use the information above to operate and improve the site, respond to your questions, show you relevant listings, measure and improve our advertising, and complete a booking through our checkout when you use it.

3. How We Share This Information

• Accommodation Providers. To facilitate any booking, whether through a click-out or our own checkout.
• Booking Partner. The booking technology provider who processes bookings made through our on-site checkout, including payment. StayReservations does not itself receive or store full payment card numbers for those bookings; that data goes directly to our Booking Partner's systems.
• Service providers who help us operate the site (hosting, analytics, customer support).
• Advertising and analytics partners, including Google Ads, to measure and improve our marketing. This includes sharing device/browser identifiers and click identifiers for attribution purposes, as described in Section 5.
• Legal authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

4. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and request correction, subject to legal exceptions.

Sale and sharing. We do not sell personal information for monetary payment. However, some of our advertising partnerships (Section 3) may be considered "sharing" personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act, because click identifiers and similar data are shared with ad networks for their own analytics purposes. To opt out of this sharing, or to exercise any right described in this section, email [email protected]. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out request where legally required.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technology

We and our advertising/analytics partners use cookies and similar technology to recognize your browser, measure site usage, and support ad attribution (including linking a booking to the ad or search that led to it). You can control cookies through your browser settings; see aboutcookies.org for more information. Disabling cookies may affect site functionality.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including at least as long as you have an open or recent booking, and longer where needed for accounting, tax, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes. We do not currently commit to a fixed deletion schedule; retention periods are reassessed as our practices develop.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

StayReservations is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

9. International Users

If you access the site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, including in New Mexico, where data protection laws may differ from your jurisdiction.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated Effective Date above.
